Itinerary: Ballestas Islands, Ica and Cusco

Day 01: Airport -hotel in Lima

At your arriving we will wait for you in the airport giving you a warming welcome. After we will go to the hotel to receive the accommodation, you will have a free afternoon

Day 02: Paracas & Ica full day

Very early in the morning at 03:00 am approximately we will pick you from the hotel to get the bus station that will take you to Paracas, in this village our transport will be waiting for you to lead you to the Ballestas islands, after boarding our boat we will have a journey being accompanied by our guide who will give us important information about this islands, continuing our adventure we will take our transport to Ica city where we will observe the magnificent scenery of the Huacachina oasis and we will be able to practice some adventure sports like sandboarding and buggies, by night we will return to our bus in direction to Lima, where our transport will get you back to the hotel.

Day 03: City tour Lima

During the morning there will be some free time to gain energies, and by afternoon begin the city tour during the tour we will visit the Pucllana pyramid, the historical center of the city, colonial buildings, the San Martin plaza, the main plaza, the government palace, the bishop palace as well as the Monumental museum and convent of San Francisco our tour will last around 4 hours.

Day 04: Transfer Lima-airport Lima-Cusco airport-hotel

We will meet you at the hotel to take you to the airport in Lima according to your flight departure, at your arriving in Cusco we will be waiting for you to give you a warming welcome then we will go to your hotel to receive accommodation, you will have free time the rest of the afternoon.

Day 05: City tour in Cusco

By afternoon we will pick you to visit our city. Our first attraction is the Cathedral of Cusco situated in the main square or Plaza de Armas, next we will visit The Temple of Qoricancha which is located two blocks from the main plaza or main square, continuing our tour we will go 2 kilometers outside of the city of Cusco to enjoy the archaeological sites as Saqsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara and Tambomachay. The tour will finish around 18:30 hrs.

Day 06: The Sacred Valley of the Incas-overnight in Machupicchu

This day we will pick you very early in the morning between 7:15 am to 7:30 am. The journey begins travelling 40 minutes approximately until arriving the Archaeological park of Pisaq, an ancient inca city that was built following the design of animal shapes, the next point will be Ollantaytambo, a village that still have the urban design which was built by “Pachacuti” the ninth inca. After we will go to the train station which is located 10 minutes walking from the Archaeological center of Ollantaytambo, then we will aboard the train that will take you to Machupicchu, at your arriving there will be a transfer (personal of the agency) waiting for you to lead you to your hotel in Aguas Calientes.

Day 07: Machupicchu visit

In the morning after breakfast we will go to the station bus to get our destiny the Inca citadel of Machupicchu, at the access your guide will meet you to enter the site and you will have 2 hours approximately of a guiding tour.

After enjoying and taking many photos to this marvel of the new world, you will get back to the bus station to take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes, by afternoon we will go to the train station to return to Cusco.

Day 08: Moray & Maras salt mines

In the morning between 7:50 am and 8:15 am, we will pick you from your hotel, our tour begins with the visit of the textile center of Chinchero which is located 40 minutes outside of Cusco. Next step will be the visit of the archaeological center of Moray where we will observe and take photos of the circular terraces and finally we will visit Maras salt mines, all the tour will be leaded by our guide. The return to Cusco will be at 14:30 hrs. approximately.

Day 09: Rainbow mountain

This day we will pick you up very early to start our adventure of trekking, we will trip in our touristic bus 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately, to get the restaurant for having a delicious breakfast, around 8:00 am, we will continue the trip for 1 hour more to get the start point of trekking, The walk to the Rainbow mountain will last 1 hour and 30 minutes approximately, once there in the top we will be able to take many photos and enjoy the scenery, after we will descend using the same route we came to get our transport, then we will return to the restaurant to have lunch and recover energy, finally by afternoon we will return to Cusco.
