Itinerary: Feel the Magic of Southern Peru

Day 01: Airport – hotel in Lima

At your arriving we will wait for you in the airport giving you a warming welcome. After we will go to the hotel to receive the accommodation, you will have a free afternoon.

Day 02: City tour in Lima

During the morning there will be some free time, and by afternoon begin the city tour during the tour we will visit the Pucllana pyramid, the historical center of the city, colonial buildings, the San Martin plaza, the main plaza, the government palace, the bishop palace as well as The Monumental museum and convent of San Francisco our tour will last around 4 hours.

Day 03: Transfer Lima-airport Lima-Cusco airport-hotel

We will meet you at the hotel to take you to the airport in Lima according to your flight departure, at your arriving in Cusco we will be waiting for you to give you a warming welcome then we will go to your hotel to receive accommodation, you will have free time the rest of the afternoon.

Day 04: The Sacred Valley of the Incas

This day we will pick you very early in the morning between 7:15 am to 7:30 am. The journey begins travelling 40 minutes approximately until arriving the Archaeological park of Pisaq, an ancient Inca city that was built following the design of animal shapes, the next point will be Ollantaytambo, a village that still have the urban design which was built by “Pachacuti” the ninth inca, finally we will make a stop in Chinchero where we will be able to appreciate the handcrafted weaving with dyed natural colors decorated with unique designs made by locals who still keep their ancestral customs, immediately We visit the archaeological part . We will return to Cusco at 19:30 hrs.

Day 05: Transfer to the train station – overnight in Machupicchu

By morning we will pick you from the hotel to travel in our transport until the train station of Ollantaytambo after boarding the train we will continue to get the town of Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu), the trip will last two hours approximately. at your arriving our transfer will wait for you to escort you to the hotel and receive accommodation.

Day 06: Machupicchu visit

In the morning after breakfast we will go to the bus station to get our destiny the Inca citadel of Machupicchu, at the access your guide will meet you to enter the site and you will have 2 hours approximately of a guiding tour.

After enjoying and taking many photos to this marvel of the new world, you will get back to the bus station to take the shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes, by afternoon We will go to the train station to return to Cusco.

Day 07: Moray & Maras salt mines

In the morning between 7:50 am and 8:15 am, we will pick you from your hotel, our tour begins with the visit of the textile center of Chinchero which is located 40 minutes outside of Cusco. Next step will be the visit of the archaeological center of Moray where we will observe and take photos of the circular terraces and finally we will visit Maras salt mines, all the tour will be leaded by our guide. The return to Cusco will be at 14:30 hrs. approximately.

Day 08: The Sun route – overnight in Puno city

Know the route that shows pretty beautiful places like the colonial temple of Andahuaylillas, the archaeological site of Racchi, La Raya and Pukara, we will pick you up from the hotel around 6:30 am, the journey will finish at 18:00 hrs. In Puno.

Day 09: Uros and Amantany visit

Our personal will pick you at 07:00 am approximately, this day we will visit the Uros islands and the Amantany island, place where we will overnight these islands offer to their visitors the customs, history and handcraft by the locals.

Day 10: Taquile island – trip to Cusco

After breakfast. We will continue our journey visiting the Taquile island where we will be guided to the main plaza where we will be able to meet the locals, our guide will explain us about their customs, activities that are involved these special people, after having lunch we will return to our boat to go back to Puno city. By night we will be taken to Cuso city.
